Astral Records & Music is based in Melbourne Australia and is distributed non exclusively worldwide by the Blue Pie Production Group. The team have spent the last (5) years developing a roster that they can truly call cutting edge. A little something for everyone and then some... Astral prides itself in having one of the most experienced A&R teams in the business today and that way we are assured that when we sign an act either to a straight product licensing deal for market distribution or a direct sign deal via a production contract where the label in fact owns the masters of the album along with the artist, we know we have an act that will cross over to a broad spectrum audience to help assure our collective success.

Our Labels Astral has two additional labels under it's worldwide banner and these are, Shogun Records and Clockwork Records. Clockwork is a label that is specifically geared to the new Emo, Nu Metal, Hardcore and Hard Rock acts that are taking the market by storm, just look at the independent success of labels like Victory and Equal Vision etc. While the Shogun label is designed to release more contemporary and organic style singer, songwriter and performer albums which too are taking the new music scene by storm and proving highly successful at this early transitional stage since the Indies started taking back a fair slab of the market share from the majors. Clockwork Records Clockwork Records is a label specifically geared towards signing and releasing artists that have that hard rock, nu metal, hardcore and emo edge that destinguishes them from the 1,000s of try-hard bands out there saturating the market today. The label is looking for acts that have material filling the following all important criteria. They music must be original, based around strong workable melodies, well structured and with strong identifiable lyrics for the youth of today to relate to...and a few friggin hits wouldn't go astray here as potential first run singles. Our submission policy is simple and clear. WE take no responsibility for submissions that don't get to us for whatever reason and nothing will be returned when requested...so don't bother asking! As our A&R team are based all over the world and we all have to unanimously agree as a unit to sign an artist, dont expect a quick response or hound us for such because it's just not going to happen. If you send the material to us for review, then it will be reviewed and you will receive a response via email in the first instance. Now good luck and send us the best quality material that you have.
